54 year old female was seen for a panniculectomy consultation in 2017. She had no history of gastric bypass or sleeve surgery. Her weight of 190 was stable for more than 6 months prior to seeing me. At the time of her consult, the patient had a large protuberant abdomen with a panniculus of the lower abdomen. She also suffered from rashes and lower back pain. She underwent a panniculectomy in 2017 and a total of 2040 grams of skin and tissue was removed from her abdomen (4.5lbs).
