51 year female was seen for a bilateral breast reduction. The patient had symptoms of middle back and shoulder pain as well as irritation of the skin beneath the breasts. Prior to surgery she was DD cup size with third-degree ptosis. The breast symmetry is essentially balanced. 1128 grams of skin and tissue was removed from her bilateral breasts (2.5lbs). After surgery, the patient stated her pre-operative symptoms have resolved.
